Hi @Ilka31850479m5dp the team is aware of the issue and is working on this. What color profile are you currently using? sRGB, ProRGB, AdobeRGB, etc?

My photoshop beta updated to version 25. today. When I went to use the generative expand tool (my favorite) there was a HUGE difference in the outcome. The earlier version was seamless, while this updated version has the AI not blending with the photo at all. You can clearly see the distinct lines of the original photo and then the AI expanded background, they don't blend whatsoever. I tried uninstalling this version, then re installing. I tried going back to the earlier version as well. Nothing is working, I am confident it's not a technical error on my computers part. I've got 64 gigs of ram and a decent graphics card (nvidia geoforce 2080 TI). The only thing I can come up with is this must be a bug. I attached a photo to show what is going on when using the generative expand tool. DSC_1371 copy g e fail.jpgexpand image

Yes.  This is exactly what I was coming here to report or see if anyone else had reported.  Something is not working right now, definitely lines when using generative expand 😞

It's good to know you're working on the issue, before the results have been really great!

This suddendly happens todoy when we start using the generative expand. I work perfectly most of the time, but suddendly getting worst on every photo. Even tried in other devices, same result. It like the AI suddendly learn backward and unable to analyse the visual correctly.

@Ilka31850479m5dp can you confirm? We've had reports that ProRGB is causing the issue but none that sRGB is. In fact, using sRGB seems to resolve.

Hi @Ilka31850479m5dp thanks for calling out! We are currently investigating the issue such as and seam (see my example) and plan to have a fix out soon.

Let me know if there was a different issue?

Hi all, please share your version of Ps beta for the team. The latest is: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.0.0 20230820.m.2296 c61c3a5 x64. To find this line of code, launch Ps beta, then go to Help/ System Info and copy and paste just the first line as above.

Absolutely.   Strangely, I did not notice it at first but now almost every generative fill leaves a "seam" that is clearly obvious and often, very disjointed (i.e., totally out of alignment).

When using generative fill, it keeps putting a straight line down the photo where i am selecting to fill. Its like its not blending with the picture at all. Any suggestions? before todays update it was absolutely fine.
