Explorer ,
Apr 01, 2025 Apr 01, 2025

Hello,

I open a photo from Lightroom CC version 14.2 as a dynamic object.

Then, in Photoshop, when I save my work, I get a dialog box with the following error message : "Error 21 : undefined is not ab object? Line: 1 ->"

Using :

  - Windows 10 x64 version 22H2 (build 19045.5679)

  - Lightroom CC 14.2 / Camera Raw 17.2

  - Photoshop Beta 26.6.0

There is the same issue using Photoshop 26.5.0 (not beta). So the issue may be with Lightroom !

Hi @CynthiaAvey

1. Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

2. It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,

Oh I thought beta costs too much money cause in no way I can afford to buy it. Is it free for good?

Hi @CynthiaAvey you need to have a valid Photoshop subscription to be able to use Ps beta, which is free to use, with this subscription.  Photoshop Elements is not the same as Photoshop.

@Heruel @catherineh41624892 Thank you for posting. Reinstalling Photoshop should fix the issue. However, before you proceed with the reinstallation, we need to collect some additional information to understand the problem, as we haven't been able to reproduce it in-house. Please let us know if it's okay to direct message you for more details. Thanks!
