P: Photoshop Beta changes "classic" Photoshop color settings every time it starts

I work in srgb color space, but every time I use Photoshop Beta and open "classic" Photoshop, the color space has changed by itself to Adobe RGB. And the CMYK changed to Japan Web Coated (Ad), and I use the U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2.

You can move the folder to your desktop, this does NOT delete anything. When you restart Ps it will create a whole new preference file(s) and you can see if the issue persists.  If it does, then we know it is not a corrupt prefs and you can simply move that folder BACK into your original place and all will be back to the way it was.

IF you do not have the same issue, then we know something in your preferences is corrupt.

Are you telling me to reset my Photoshop? I'm going to lose a lot of settings by doing this...

One thing to try for both Ps and Ps beta:

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)

/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut

With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

and for Ps 2023:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you @Itarcio we understand.  What language is your Ps set to, we will ask the team to investigate this.

Hello. I don't know if I'm being clear.

This is my Photoshop 2023 color settings screen:

After opening Photoshop Beta, and reopening Photoshop 2023, the settings were AUTOMATICALLY CHANGED to the same color settings as in Photoshop Beta:

Bottom line: Photoshop Beta is changing Photoshop 2023 color settings without proper permission.

Thanks for the update @Itarcio what does your prefs screen look like for both Ps and Ps beta?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

I did not understand your question. Sorry, my English is from Google Translate. I will try to explain again below.

My default color settings in Photoshop 2023 are:
RGB: sRGB
CMYK: U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2

Every time I open Photoshop Beta, which I go back to Photoshop 2023, these settings have changed by themselves, to:
RGB: Adobe RGB
CMYK: Japan Web Coated (Ad)

Hi @Itarcio could you share your workflow and what you mean by "open classic" photoshop... are you talking about Ps beta or the release version?
