P: PS Beta 24.6 not available in CC; stuck at 24.5

I see plenty of mentions of no/disabled Generative Fill option, but few that are result of being stuck on version 24.5 ...

Im on Mac OS Ventura, connected to Adobe via MS Teams and it seems im stuck at 24.5.

I've uninstalled Beta, restarted, and reinstalled Beta twice, both resulted in 24.5 installs. I tried the "Check for updates" option a couple times, but 24.6 didnt come up. I uninstalled again, updated stable PS, restarted, and did a few more "Check for updates" rounds, but 24.6 is still not an option.

- Is the feature simply not rolled out universally yet?

- Or maybe this something our IT crew needs to allow first?

- Is there a direct link to install this particular version?

Cheers.

The message that Kevin sent me above says that the Adobe Admin setting "Make updates available 30 days after release" needs to be turned OFF.  This may be counterintuitive for admins, that turning OFF a "make updates available" setting makes updates available sooner.

I should mention that I'm on an M1 Macbook Pro and just updated to MacOS Ventura, hoping that would help, but it didn't.  My Intel iMac Pro is also on Ventura, and also sees no sign of 24.6.

I am unable to upgrade to 24.6. When checking versions, it says I'm up to date at 24.5. I have tried installing/uninstalling, restarting, logging out/in of Creative Cloud. No other versions of PS installed. I am on  Macbook Air, M2, Ventura 13.1.

I am using an Enterprise version (university) and it appears others are reporting availability issues with updating to 24.6 under such license/agreement.

Contratei hoje o pacote completo do Creative Cloud. Porém, na lista de aplicativos Beta, o Photoshop não aparece.

Alguém saberia me dizer o porquê disso acontecer e como resolvo?

I'm going through the same problem.

I saw that @CoryShubert mentioned something about a geo location limitation, could that really be it?

i noticed it's not an update but you have to go to creative cloud and then navigate to the left of the app where 'BETA APP" is and install photoshop Beta.

Hi @tihhgoncalves there could be a number of reasons the beta is not showing. Here are some things to try:

1. Uninstall any previous beta builds.

2. Log out of Creative Cloud Desktop app.

3. Restart computer.

4. Log back into CC Desktop app and check for beta.

If Photoshop is the only beta unavailable in the list it could be due to goegraphic restrictions or your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install.

Claro!

Hi @tihhgoncalves go to your installed version of Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

I MANAGED TO SOLVE IT!

After many checks, my problem was as follows:

Not long ago, I stopped using non-original Adobe applications. Because of this, some Adobe IPs and domains, which were previously used for validation, were blocked in my Windows' `hosts` file (don't judge me, I've already left this life behind, lol). It, in this case, was blocking some route to access Photoshop Beta. All I had to do was remove all this junk and it worked.

I hope this helps other people. And remember: buy official licenses!

I am on Ventura as well under an enterprise account. I've tried all of the suggestions above but no luck. Still no options to update to 24.6. Has anything been figured out yet?

Hi @30171073clxd did you contact your plan Administrator to allow Beta Apps?

You can find the details here under "Enable Install of Beta Apps"

Hi @stevenp15424925 the beta application is not an update. You can find the beta apps using the Apps tab in the Creative Cloud desktop app and the left panel under "Beta Apps" - check my screenshot from a previous reply.

Hi @Norman30075004fxlm contact your plan adminstrator - they have to allow Beta application access via their Admin console.

I don't understand.  I have Photoshop (beta) 24.5 installed.  How could I do that if my administrator doesn't allow Beta application access?
