Hi Team,

Recently, My team started using Adobe photoshop 2023 for the features called "  Remove tool work and generative fill " and I am using Intel 10th generation CPU with 8 Core processor, 512 GB SSD, 32 GB RAM and NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 GB Graphics card. Now my production has replied as below and please suggest what is wrong with my hardware 😞

"I have checked the performance after upgrading with the below minimum hardware configuration by IT Team as we wanted to work on  "Remove tool work and generative fill" to work faster without any lag whereas we have seen file open, close, preview and higher size files work smooth but still Ai tool time isn't reduced in the processing." Please refer path to get more idea about the remove tool : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/using/retouching-repairing-images.html ".

Please help me how can I handle this situation because according to me the hardware is fine but what kind of expectation they have I am not sure and does it really slow ?

Hi @mayankg30676513

Go to Preferences > Image Processing, select “More stable for Remove Tool Processing. Then restart Photoshop. Does the issue persist?

I completly understand and I am not using it actually but I tried and it was working slow.

My main concern with removal tool which is not giving any performance.

Hi @mayankg30676513 Generative Fill cannot be used for commercial work.

The Generative Fill function is still in beta. I will move your post to the Beta forum.
