Question

After using Generative Fill, my photoshop crashes

Hello everyone, after I use Generative Fill, my PS crashes whenever I select another layer or use any other tool really, such as the type tool.

I tried all the options in the Adobe support page '' Troubleshoot crash or freeze in Photoshop ''  but with no luck.

It is worth noting that I don't crash or have any issues in my regular use of Photoshop, the crashes only happen after using Generative Fill.

Currently running the latest version of Photoshop, latest Windows 10 version.

I don't get any crashreport.
the progressbar of the generative fill gets stuck on the last 10%,
then the whole system is slowing down, photoshop isn't responding.
then waiting for another 5 seconds, and PS is disappearing.

No crashreport. When reopening, PS starts with the recovery file.
Last PS Version never Crashed on anything.

Current:
Win 11 Pro 22H2
PS 25.2.0

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core
128 GB
3 x RTX3080Ti

Yes it worked for me i also tried typing "Remove the (pole)" in my case it was a pole, and it actually did remove with similar results as leaving it empty

Hi @Alenholfree301307590hiv

I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

You need to type something in the prompt text box. Because if you generate with inputting any text, the App will Crash. If you want to fill with your current background just type in the box "Fill Background".

Hi all! Download the latest beta and see if this solves this. You may have to uninstall the beta first to see the new version available.

You can use Alt+0160 (" ") to better results than a "."  It worked to remove objetcts.
