Cannot move main application window

I cannot relocate the application window on my display.  When I move it, it just keeps snapping back to the position it was in when the program was launched.  My non-beta version of Photoshop does not do this.  I can move the window wherever I want on any of my displays with that version.

Having some issue with both Photoshop and Illustrator but other programs are okay.  Reverted to using version 24.5 in Photoshop and 27.5 in Illustrator.  Very frustrating.  Versions higher are not working properly.  For the amount we pay for a subscription, this matter should be solved quickly as it is definitely a problem that causes lost time and a lot of frustration.

The new version of PhotoShop Beta (25.1.0) solved the issue for me.  Thanks all for your comments.

    Thanks for the update @SRAM Chris, have you posted the issue on the Ps forum for release 25.0?

    Hi @CShubert ,

    I do not experience this problem (PS window snaps back to the original position after I drag it around the screen) in today's beta release 25.1.

    My original response to @StuckOnEndor was to report the issue in the non-Beta 25.0 release.

    Bug is also in PS 24.7 but not in 24.6.0

      I have the exact same problem happening with Photoshop 25.0.0 and Illustrator 27.9. Installed PS 24.6 and Photoshop works correctly. Deleted prefs in 25.0.0 and the problem occurs.

       

      Windows 10 Pro 22H2

      Nvidia Quadro Pro P520 driver version 528.24

        @StuckOnEndor would it be possible for you to record a video of your screen that you are trying to move Ps to?  You mention in the OP that Ps release does NOT do this, and only Ps beta does, is that correct?

        We see by your sysinfo that you do not have the latest Ps beta: Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.1.0 20230913.m.2327 432629c x64

        Please update your Ps beta and let us know if you still have the issue.

          I have tried every combination & quantity of monitors including adding a third.  The problem persists.
