Could not update smart object files because of a program error

Question

I am getting the following error alert in Photoshop Beta on Windows 10 PC when trying to run the Filter>Camera Raw Filter on a layer that has been converted to a Smart Object.

Hi @Mark S. Johnson due to your other issue and now this one, it seems like a good idea would be to delete your Ps beta app/folders and do a clean install. The fact that the prefs redo fixed it for a while and now this seems to point to something else that is also not correct.

Let's start fresh and then dig in to see what else might be going on.

Also, it may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
