Ctl shift Alt E doesn't work for new layer as sum of below  (nothing happens)

can't find bucket in new beta

Plus I can't open a new layer without getting a pop up to help me.

Plus it didn't copy my preferences from before

Plus  this beta becomes the default photoshop from Lightroom and I'd rather have kept prev version as                         default until this beta is accepted and behaves normally  = laborious to get into prev working

                 PS frm LR

----------

beta v 25.0

windows 10

@judy04, I have some answers (Photoshop Beta 25.0.0 Release, Windows 10). For me, Ctrl/Shift/Alt/E works as expected to combine layers below into one new layer on top. So, I can't duplicate that error on my end. In the Essentials (Default) workspace, the Paint Bucket Tool is grouped under the Gradient Tool. To turn off the tutorial pop-ups, under Preferences > Tools, try unchecking “Show Rich Tooltips” to see if that makes it stop. I know others have reported some Lightroom to Photoshop issues between Beta and Public, so please check some other threads here for more guidance on that.

Yes!   Found another answer giving the *sequences* that work, and mine didn't.  Thx

OMG!   I swear I tried and tried this yest.   Again thx and yes, does work.

I hope when the beta gets out of beta that it will copy my prefs etc that normal new releases do.  Maybe a re-install?
