Custom Keyboard Shortcuts Gone After Each Update

I have some custom Keyboard shortcuts that I use all the time to help make my job faster/easier.  The issue is that I need to re-create the shortcuts with each update of Adobe Photoshop (Beta).  When the non-beta gets released, all my shortcut keys remain the same.  Why is this not the case for Photoshop (Beta)?

Open the Creative Cloud Destop app

Click on Apps on the left.

Click on the three dots to the right of Installed apps  and then on Manage auto-updates.

Scroll down to Photoshop (Beta) and then on its Advanced Options.

Is Import previous settings etc checked?

Do you have any custom workspaces?

If not, make one, even if it is more or less the same as Essentials, and check all of the options.

This is a great way to save all of those settings.  You can have different shortcuts for different workspaces.

You can take it a step further and make tiny Actions that set and reset your workspaces, and trigger them with shortcuts.

Function keys are super useful for this.  The one (above) I use the most is Make Smart Object.  It gets anoying having to right click and find that command among a long list.  So much nicer hitting a single F key.
