Free Transform, scaling, rotate, warp, moving with left click on mouse suddenly stopped working

maybe you can help me, from one day to the next, the free transform options ceased to work (meaning that when I right click on a layer and choose free transform, it DOES show the 8 handles, but I can't do anything with the mouse after that. Mind you that when I go to the top and change the scale by inputting the percentage, it does change, but cannot do much else... any thoughts?

Hi @ARB1976 could you share a video of your workflow and what you are seeing so we can try to reproduce here?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you Cory, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop. The issue has been solved now.
