Generative AI text area is not handling keyboard events properly

After inserting text to the Generative AI text field,

and action on that text is interperted generally and not on the text.

e.g.
Marking the text and pressing CTRL+C executes the prompt instead of copying the text
Clicking CTRL + left / right moves the cursor inside the text but also moves the selected area.

This was fixed in the 24.7 build.
