Generative fill completely broken

Generative fill is no longer working since recent updates. It hangs at the end of the progress bar and does nothing. Rolling back to older versions doesnt work, Clearing photoshop settings doesnt work, restarting doesnt work, reinstalling doesnt work, different images dont work. This isnt working on our entire teams computers and photoshops.

    It looks like it's fixed now. V25 worked and so does upgrade to V25.1. thanks for support

    I am having the same issue ( today 9/6/23). I cannot use generative fill at all. It won't even give me the option. I updated to the lastest version of 25.1 incase and it still doesn't work. I am on a Mac Book Pro, Ventura 13.0.1. Anyone find a fix???

        It looks like it's fixed now. V25 worked and so does upgrade to V25.1. thanks for support

          The Generative Fill is posing a significant issue. In the Photoshop Beta, everything worked well as long as the size was below 1024x1024 px. However, now the outcomes are blurry and entirely unusable.

            For me, the program crashes when I perform an operation on a layer that has no background

            but today everything works fine - I don't know why there was a problem last night

              Same here. 30 Aug. Generative Fill takes 10mins and returns no result. Reinstalled software. No Joy. Feature is completely broken atm.

                I'm having the same issue with 25.1. Even installing the previous beta version 25.0 does not work.

                  I have the same issue. Updated my Mac to Ventura in order to keep being able to use Photshop Beta and now Generative Fill hangs at the end of progress bar without any results. Also the variations tab thumbnails keep rolling as if they're updating/thinking but nothing is happening there either. Have done all the usual attempts to fix the issue but no luck so far. Would love this feature to work again – it's brilliant.
