How to make the Photoshop Layers panel display horizontally?

as monitor is 16:9,so width has more space to display,if layer panel can display horizontally,there would be more layers display horizontally than vertically. does PS can display layer horizontally?

No, Photoshop does not display the Layers panel horizontally.

I'm interested how you think that could work?  Would each layer be a vertical column with vertical Type?

Do you use a custom workspace?  You can pull the layers panel out and have it full height of the screen.

Do you use more than one screen?  I Use three screens and orientate the one on the right in portrait mode so I can maximise how much space the layer panel can use.

Another important aspect of custom workspaces, is that we can save custom keyboard shortcuts, menus and Toolbars, so you make more use of shortcuts, in particular, according to what you are doing.
