How to move objects created with generative fill?

How can I move an object created with generative fill transparently (without including the portion of background that surrounds it)?

Hi @eyeland99 at this point in the beta, that is not possible without first masking out the excess background items you do not wish to move.

Thanks for the response. I can appreciate that there are complexities involved (lighting, shadows, etc.), but it still seems like that would be a great option to offer (to allow moving & resizing objects). Hopefully it will be an enhancement in the near future?

I second that.  Now that it is integrated in to Photoshop, this needs to be something we can do.
