Issue with Photoshop AI Image Generation – "Something Went Wrong" Error

New Here ,
Aug 07, 2025 Aug 07, 2025

Hello Adobe Community,

I hope you're doing well.

I'm currently facing an issue while using the AI image generation feature (Generative Fill) in Adobe Photoshop. Whenever I try to use it, I get the following message:

"Something went wrong, please try again."

I've already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Restarting Photoshop - Updating to the latest version -
Checking my internet connection - Logging out and back into my Adobe account

Unfortunately, none of these worked.

I'm using the lateest version of adobe because I have an account, and I tried the bita version and I faced the same issue

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a solution or workaround?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Fadi

Hi @Fadi Alhinnawi

1. Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings

Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.

2. It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,
