After the last Beta Update, i lost:

1- The ability to resize the remove tool curser by " ALT+ Drag " which is a feature of this tool from day one.

I have to go to the tool bar at the top of the window to change its size. Note: it works normally before doing any selections, but once i click once i cant change the size anymore by alt and drag.

2- the eternal feature of opening the transform menu by a simple right click once after clicking one of the nodes. Now im going to Edit>tranform> menu for a simple skew or distort command

I hope it's a Bug not a new rearrangment.

thank you

Just to be sure, do I have the same version?

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.3.0 20241215.m.2906

I am able to change the cursor size with Alt drag here with Windows 11.

That's one of the features that uses the GPU, so check Preferences > Performance to see if that is still turned on

Hi Trevor,

Never mind, they fixed it in the latest update. I’m using the beta version and updating it regularly. I actually find it more stable than the official release!

I might have sounded a bit aggressive in my original post, but it’s something that has been bugging me across different service providers: "Fixing things that aren’t broken." This is especially frustrating at a professional level with tools like Photoshop, which many of us use so fluently and intuitively that it feels like a second language—sometimes more natural than speaking our mother tongue.

One example I can neither forget nor forgive, even after more than a year, is the change they made to the row positions in the layer menu when you right-click on a layer name. The "Flatten Image" and "Merge Layers" options used to always be at the bottom, and "Convert to Smart Object" was further up. To this day, I still struggle to retrain my muscle memory to adapt to the new positions!

thank you for your answer though !

If you want to use the traditional flyout menus in the Layer panel, etc.,

Uncheck "Show Simplified Right Click And Flyout Menus" in Preferences/Interface.
