Neural filter bugs

I do a lot of photo restoration. If I use the photo restoration button, one of two things happens. First, a quarter to half the time it tell me "this filter has temporarily been disbled." When it works, it is terrific but when this comes up, it is really frustrating. Or secondly, the window will change. It flashes and the dotted lines around the edge of the picture become smaller. I'm not sure what it happening but I have to then save my work, close down Photoshop, and restart it.

Secondly, I have noticed that if I use the JPEG removal tool prior to using the photo restoration, the problem mentioned about seem to happen more often. I really like neural filters when they work correctly but there are still some bugs that need to me fixed.

Hi Ronald.  The Neural filters are quite demanding on hardware.  Some of them used to crash my previous computer every time I tried to use them.  This was a system that was high spec'd when bought six years ago.  Since changing to a i9-13900k system all of Photoshop's tools have become 100% reliable.  So the question is, what is your system spec?
