Hi, I tried to remove reflections (Technical Preview with Photoshop (Beta)) with RAW files from Nikon and Samsung S23+. The .NEF (Nikon D800 and Z 8) and .DNG (Samsung Raw) files are not recognized valid and, therefore, the reflections removal operation cannot be performed.

Yes, it doesn't work with my Nikon Z8 file today. I believe it worked for once in the recent past with a Z8 nef when I tried it.

Following up on my own post, both Photoshop 2024 and Photoshop Beta did work when I opened the same Z8 nef file directly from its Windows folder. It doesn't work when opening from Lightroom Classic into Photoshop.

Having trouble when exporting from LRc to PS as ordinary export and smart layers to PS and reflection removal does not work
But if I open same file directly to PS it opens in camera raw and refetion then does work
so it seems links between LRc an PS export does not work

Sorry, mine doesnt recognize the nef file either from directly importing it into PS and then using camera raw, or opening Lr and then importing into PS.
THis bug has not yet been fixed whcih is surprising since NEF files are quite common.

From my other post the answer I received as below worked perfectly for me.
I Quote ----
It works, but reflection removal requires editing raw data, so to make it work from Lightroom Classic use these exact steps:
1. With the raw image selected, choose Photo > Edit In > Open as Smart Object in Photoshop.
2. In Photoshop, double-click the raw smart object layer to open it in Camera Raw.
The double-click in Step 2 is a shortcut for the command Layer > Smart Objects > Edit Contents. You must use Edit Contents to open the raw smart object in the full Camera Raw processor. Do not use the command Filter > Camera Raw Filter, because the filter version of Camera Raw is not the full raw processor, so it does not offer any features that require raw, such as Denoise or reflection removal.
