New update to PS

Question:  I'm in PS Beta and it wants me to update, but it appears that it's going to the latest update to traditional PS.  Does the new update (which I assume is PS 2024) include all the skills in PS Beta as well?

Hi @MelodeeH Ps beta and Ps release are different apps and you can have both on your computer at the same time.

If you launch CCD and go to apps, you should see both your release versions and the beta's that are available to you. Simply click on the update button on the right to download and install the latest.  Ps beta updates more frequent and has features or tools that may not be in the release version, but the goal is those that are in beta move on to the release version.

The interesting thing is that when I'm in Adobe checking on my applications, it does NOT show that I have PS Beta, and it does show that my PS is up to date.  However, in PS Beta, it wants me to update and it appears to be the latest version of PS -- odd

Hi @MelodeeH you have to uninstall the beta first then refresh your Creative Cloud Desktop app to install the updated beta. It does not update in the CCD like a normal app would.
