Object Selection tool error in Photoshop Beta

Object selection tool error

Couldn't find an object to select.

There might not be enough edge contrast, or the object might be too small.

There is plenty of contrast in the objects. Have to restart the computer so the tool can detect the edge. Restarting the program does not fix the issue.

Thank you for the screenshot @Lisa5C64 did you try a smaller selection, closer to the windows... if that is what you were trying to select?

Yes, I use the object selection tool to select all the trees in front of the building and mask them out. This error has happened a few times when I edit other photos. The only thing that works is restarting the computer.
