Photoshop Beta does not open (generative fill unavailable)

Hello

I subscribed to Photoshop today and downloaded both regular version and Beta version to my hP laptop via Creative Cloud (with success).

Still, when I open the Beta version, it keeps opening the regular version, or, at least the "generative fill" in Edit is unavailable (light grey, cannot click). The top left corner of the app does not state "Beta" either, only PS. 

Are you able to advise how can I open the Beta version properly?

Thank you in advance for you help to this new user from Finland!

Also, if you advise how to change the language of the Creative Cloud and PS and PS beta to English, that would be helpful, too. I searched from Google but could not do that either.

Hi @ElinaFromFinland your GPU - Intel UHD is 4 years out of date. Update your drivers first before reinstalling software.

How do you start Photoshop Beta? Via double click to the appropriate icon?

Please show us the icon that you double click in a screnshot

Please test to deinstall the Beta version. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Application to uninstall Photoshop Beta. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall the former version of Photoshop Beta (24.7). Then check again.

Hello @AxelMatt and thank you! I have opened both via Creative Cloud Desktop and from the laptop's left bottom corner's search bar, screenshots attached. 

I will try to uninstall Beta as per your instructions. Will revert shortly.

You should also check your system if it's up-to-date. As far as I see your graphic device driver is 41 month old.

Please check if there updates available. Also check if there updates and/or patches available for your operating system, chip set, devices and so on.

It's also possible that Photoshop doesn't run smoothly, because your graphic card isn't really supported by Photoshop. In my eyes is this a CPU internal graphic device.

@AxelMatt Intel UHD doesn't meet minimum requirements, but sometimes updating the driver helps. If it doesn't support DirectX12 (feature level 12) then the beta wont launch.

@Kevin Stohlmeyer and @AxelMatt Do you know if I can download straight from Intel, as Intel primarily suggests to download from manufacturer (=Samsung laptop, I mistakenly wrote hP above) but manufacturer does not make drivers for this 2021 model anymore (=when I searched my model number, it does not exist anymore on Samsung's list)?
