Photoshop Beta Error

Community Beginner ,
May 13, 2025 May 13, 2025

Hi,

This error occurs when I open Photoshop. This error has never occurred before. No tools are visible. I cannot use any tools. This problem occurred after updating to the new Photoshop version. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled the old version. Even then the same error occurs. Due to this I am unable to continue working. Every time a new error occurs. This causes a lot of time waste.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hey, @Senthilkumar Aust. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move your post to the Photoshop Beta forums.

Please share the system information from Photoshop Help > System Info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Have you recently also updated Windows or any other drivers? The error in one of the images can not possibly be from Windows 10 or 11.

For the missing icons, you can try the steps shared here: https://adobe.ly/4jW41Cu

If that does not help, go to the location of the preference folder below and rename it to backup.

  • Windows 10/11: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
  • You can press Press the Windows key > Enter 'Run' > Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe
  • Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop Beta > Rename > Adobe Photoshop Beta. old), You can restore these preferences later if needed.(https://adobe.ly/4860qM9)
  • Restart the computer.

These changes will give a fresh start to Photoshop as a fresh install. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Sameer K
