Photoshop Not using external video card and constantly crashes

My system is an AMD-based laptop with two graphics cards (AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics and AMD Radeon RX6600M) When I open Photoshop, my external graphics card does not work and I have constant crashes. I have updated all drivers, downgraded and upgraded Photoshop versions, but the result is the same. After the incoming updates, Photoshop's optimisation with my laptop has become terrible and my work has been disrupted...

Photoshop Beta 25.1 version

[Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Beta forum]

Have you had any luck with fixing that issue? I'm in the same boat, but with Photoshop 25.0.

it was solved for a while but after the new updates it is still the same.

Please try to deactivate the CPU inrternal GPU in device manager in Windows and check.

More informations you'll find here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

If this doesn't help, please post your Photoshop system info. In Photoshop goto Help > System Info and hit the copy button. Then paste the entire informations into this thread.

As you mentioned you're using the Beta version. Have you tried to use the relased Photoshop 2024 (25.0) version?
