Remove tool not working

Hi All,

 

I had a great experience with the remove tool on a photo with a fence. The background and edges were surprisingly near-perfect. But after the update, the remove tool is not doing the job. I keep getting a lot of noise, and contrast/brightness issues. I have a strange texture across the area that is removed. 

 

I've attached a screenshot with the problem. This is the worst case of it at the bottom where it is a completely different one and box. The top half was where I previously used the remove tool and it's worked perfectly.

 

I wish I could go back to the previous version where it was working really well, because I can then finish editing the photo.

 

Is anyone else having this issue?

    Just to add, if anyone else has this problem is to restart PS, once the 'more stable' option has been selected, otherwise it won't work.

    Hello. Every Tıme I Use The Adobe Photoshop "Remove Tool" Feature On My Amd Rx6800 Graphıcs Card, The Graphıcs Card Stops All Dısplay Processes And Does Not Perform Its Duty. Because Of Thıs Problem, I Cannot Do My Work Properly And On Tıme. Even If I Trıed The Card On Dıfferent Computers, I Get The Same Questıons. How Can We Fix This Problem?

      Just to add, if anyone else has this problem is to restart PS, once the 'more stable' option has been selected, otherwise it won't work.

      Hi Cory, Thank you so much for the help. It's worked like a charm! All fixed. I'm really glad I posted on the Adobe Community and especially for your expertise on the matter, as I'd been struggling for a while.

      I was getting the same issue in Photoshop too.

      Hi @Karmony15P do you see the same issue with Ps release version?

       

      Try more stable, does the issue persist?
