Selecting layers does not work

Hi Photoshop Community! 

Since I was working with Photoshop beta [24.7] yesterday, I have noticed that selecting layers on my artboards no longer selects the layers in the layers panel. This is very frustrating and I have to work from the layer panel all the time. Have I done something wrong?

Hi @Omineus your video is cutting off the workspace. With your move tool in use, check your options on top and make sure "Auto Select" is active and Layer is chosen.
