Subject gets messed up when changing background

First of all, i'am new to photoshop/beta.

in generative fill i select a subject in my picture, in this case, a bird on a blue sky, then i invert the selection and make a generative fill off the background (a blured out forest) when i get the three examples, all of them have messed up the subjekt, giving the bird a longer beak and more feathers, and/or crazy eyes.. what i dont understand is, that the selection of the bird was perfectly done in the first place, how do i remowe the bad bird and put in the good bird on the new generated background?
thanks Martin.

Hi @MARTIN KIM25624633pa63 it is best to make a loose selection, not tight or specific as GF uses the surrounding pixels to help it blend in with whatever you have asked it to return with.  As with any beta software, GF is still learning and we are constantly improving the backend to return better and better options.

I have the same issue . It messes up my subjects when I try to change the background and it's getting worse every time. Hope there is a solution for this.

Tony you have done exactly what Cory (who you might not realise works on the Photoshop Development Team at Adobe) told us not to do.  What you are doing is a straight forward composite of the dance partners onto a new background.  Generative Fill is not going to be relevant to that.
