Text on Path Disappearing in Photoshop Beta

When I add text to a circle path in the latest version of Photoshop Beta, when I click the Commit checkbox, the text completely disappears.  There's still a text layer, but no text in the document.  I've tried the exact same steps in regular Photoshop and it works fine there.

This is one of those Photoshop Gotchas that gets us all now and again.

Try chanbging the font size.

Changing position format (left, centre right)

Use the Direct Selection tool (white arrow) or Path Selection tool (black arrow) to drag the text.

One of these is going to make the text appear methinks.

Appreciate your feedback, Dennis.  None of those suggestions made the text appear because this is very likely some type of bug, but what did (oddly) make it appear was dragging the path with the invisible text on it to a new location.

I had this issue in Beta and using regular photoshopit  was ok.

Yes, I am seeing this as well.  My apologies for not testing it when you first posted.

@CShubert  are you aware of this one.

  1. Create a work path
  2. Add text, which appears to be working OK.
  3. Hit the check to commit, and the text disappears.
