Question

Using one photo as a reference to achieve a look on another photo?

Hello:

I was wondering if the new PS version allows a user to point to one photo as a "reference" photo and apply a similar look towards another photo?  Thanks for input.

I started replying to this in your other post, which demonstrates and underlines how annoying it is when people double post.  Yes, the Neural Filter suggested above works.  With both images open, turn on the Landscape Mixer filter and select Custom.  Use the dropdown to select the image you want to take the style from, and adjust the strength slider for best effect.

I tried it with your images, and it worked, but turned the poor dog into a monstor from the sea, so I had to mask it back in from the original.  I suspect the the issue with this is that it is Ai driven, and like earlier versions of Firefly etc. it is pants at generating organic shapes like hands and faces, and apparently, dogs.  Fortunately Ai is already incredibly good at making selections, so it is super easy to mask things in and out.

Thank you for the response. Appologies I didn't realize I double posted.

Check out Neural Filters.  Several of them might do what you are after.
