This alert is only in Photoshop Beta, so I've moved your post there. The beta is available for folks to test the new features as they are are released, not to stay in an older version of it.

Assuming Photoshop-

If you want to experiment by testing Beta (Pre-release) versions, then be prepared to keep up with changes to the Beta versions as it is developed.

Otherwise stay only with the official release version. (Photoshop at v24.7)

And you can turn off Upgrades in the CC Desktop App for release versions.

Would you mind informing yourself about the Forum you post on? 

Unless you post a Feature Request or Bug Report, which are registered at Adobe, this is essentially a user Forum; and obviously other Photoshop users have no real influence over update information. 

 

Also: Which exact application version are you talking about?
