ALT+RMB+Drag shortcut for brush size broken.

The ALT+RMB+Drag shortcut for brush size in photoshop is broken for me. The red circle in the middle is missing, and it cuts out and stops resizing randomly. My keyboard is not broken, my mouse is not broken, i am not letting go of the ALT key or RMB; this seems to be entirely the fault of Photoshop just deciding to crap out on me. It was working for an hour in advance, and there was no significant change between when it worked and when it stopped working. I did not change any settings, it was just working one second, and went from fully functional to broken while i was using it. I have tried restarting photoshop, restarting my computer, and looking on the forums and asking your AI chatbot "helper", every single one of these proved to be absolutely useless. I do not have the time or money to be able to use software that does not do what it is supposed to do.
