Can't change author metadata on image export [Exporting copyright with Metadata none]

Participant ,

How do I remove or at least change the author while exporting the image? I want to keep all camera info thoug. Since recently, something changed and my author/creator name changed to Adobe account name everywhere (EXIF, IPTC, XMP), but I don't use that name anywhere.. This doesn't make any sense in my case.  It's much better for me to just not use any name then...

Just noticed, that even if I choose to not add any metadata at all, EXIF still contains copyright with my Adobe name... 🤦‍:male_sign:

By default, that is empty. Could you be adding the copyright data in Bridge, Lightroom, your camera (my Canon's have a copyright entry) or anywhere else in your workflow?

OK, it was in camera, but shouldn't it be removed if I choose "Metadata: none"?

You would think so yes.

However, I've just tested and both Export As and Save for Web both retained 'dc:rights' copyright data when set to Metadata none.  In case it was just v26 I went back to v21 and it was the same.

I had not noticed this before as I normally set Export Save to Web to Copyright only.

I'll move it to bugs

It would be great to also have "Camera info only" 🙏
