Content Aware filling with inverse/incorrect color

When filling a selection with content aware, the selection fills with the inverse colors - often only sporadic pieces throughout the selection, but occasionally the full amount, as seen below.

Upon redoing the fill/content aware to correct the errors, (or redoing with clone stamp, paint bucket, etc.) the file will still save with the glitch colors, instead of the corrected version.

The file needs to be closed, reopened, and then corrected in order to save over the glitched pieces.

This was also occurring with Photoshop 22, was rectified a few months ago, and in the most recent April update toVersion 24.4.1 has started again.
