P: Ps 26.8 Corner Radius Handles Missing After Update.

Hi everyone,
I recently updated my Photoshop to the latest version, and I noticed a change with the Rectangle Tool.

Previously, after drawing a shape with the Rectangle Tool, I could see four corner radius points which allowed me to adjust the curves individually using the Move Tool. However, after the update, those points no longer appear or respond as they used to.

Is this a known change in the latest update? Or is there a new method to enable corner radius control like before?

Would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

This issue is still occuring, but the workarounds listed in this thread deal with the problem

Photoshop 26.8
Windows 11

While having a rectangle layer selected, using the move tool and hovering over the corner rounding handles:
The move tool curser changes to the rounded corner curser, however it cannot actually make changes to the rectangles corners even though the curser appearance implies it can. Clicking and dragging on the rounded corner via the move tool does nothing.

@Misprintedzedruu try updating to version 26.9, this was a reported bug in version 26.8

OK, was able to reproduce on my end. The details I was missing were that it occurs while using the Move tool and with the Show Transform Controls option enabled. This makes the handles appear but you are unable to move them. The workaround is to use one of the Shape tools (Rectangle or any of the others), and then the handles are usable.

Hey folks, just updated today my photoshop and I'll relate some issues i'm finding.

1) When i open a PSD file (not all psd but a bunch of them) it aways open an adobe page "how to use type tool". I don't know why this happen. Used to happen in another versions too.

2) Can't edit a rectangle roundness trough the dots in the shape (like in illustrator), it simply don't work.

Hey @17911149,

That sounds frustrating, and I’m sorry you’re running into this. I’m going to move your post to Discussion for now until we have more details about the issue. Could you please share a screenshot of the "How to use the Type tool" Adobe page that you're seeing? That’ll help us better understand what might be going on.

@Ged_Traynor  I was using the Shape tool. It also works properly using the Path Selection tool. When using the Move tool, the problem the OP describes occurs. The radius icons are visible, and hovering over them changes the cursor to a small arc, but they can not be moved.

@Semaphoric are you selecting the move tool to move the radius points, with show transform controls enabled, as per the video the OP uploaded, it works in version 26.7 but not in 26.8
