Why is the crop tool not active in version (25.4)? How can I solve the problem?

      Go to Window Workspace and choose Essentials then Reset Essentials - you appear to have a truncated workspace and toolbar - missing more than just the Crop tool.

      @Cinzia33058447dd22 can you share a screen shot of your workspace and the layer you are trying to crop? One thing to try is to click the Crop tool icon top left and reset tool.
