This is a repost of bug post https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/slow-down-and-disappearing-dialogue-b... for the new 2023 PS (24.0). That post was crowded anyway with extranous info. In short I have Mac OS Monterray (12.5.1) 32 GB memory and 400 GB free storage and use an M1 chip macbook pro. The main issue I'm encountering is disappearing dialogue boxes: after using the program for a bit, when dialogue boxes pop up, they are invisible and then after I enter a response via the keyboard will appear for half a second. The program needs to be restarted to get them to come up prperly again. These are ALL dialogue boxes from asking if you want to save to it telling you there are no pixels on a layer, etc. I am also using a 2nd touch-pen screen (a cintique 13 HD) though if I bring the program up to the main screen the problem remains, however I NEVER use PS when the 2nd screen is completely unattached as I only use it for drawing. I generally also have Indesign open concurrrently. This issue has occured on all PS 2022 versions(and now 2023), but not on PS 2021 or earlier. It DOES NOT occur in the Beta PS. Resetting preferences, creating a new Admin User, and using legacy new doc interface DOES NOT affect.
THe second issue I'm experiencing is some slow down, though I've gotten used to it at the point, but it is slower than the 23.0.2 build and the beta, which has no slow down issues and runs much faster always.
