Gridlines on artwork

Hi There

Seem to have an issue with the attached artwork, on the normal PDF you can see all the gridlines and a white line when opened in Photoshop, but on the PDF viewer, although the gridlines are very faint, it is shown how it is meant to be printed.

Any suggestions on how to overcome this please.

Many thanks

John

You want the PDF to look like the PNG? How are you saving the PDF - and what version of PDF are saving? You want PDF 5 or higher - transparency is not supported in older versions.

I would be happy to take a look. Can you post it to dropbox or something similar and send me the link? You can PM me if you don't want to post it here.

Hi Melissa

I now have the source file, but can't see how to attach, so that you can view?

Many thanks

So you recieved the pdf, where did the PNG come from? Who made the original artwork, can you get the orginal file? What was it made in, PS, AI, ID? You need the original file to recreate the PDF. It looks like whomever saved / exported it as a PDF saved it as an older version of PDF that doesn't support transparency.
