Healing brush on iPad Pro M1 keeps crashing

I've updated from an iPad Pro 2020 to the latest iPad Pro M1 and I'm very frustrated because the tool I use the most on photoshop keeps crashing all the time, something that never happened with the last one. Whenever I'm using the healing brush there is just an amount of time before it freezes and I have to close the app losing all the work. It's so annoying, I already uninstalled several times and reset the preferences but nothing seems to work.
