I have problems if I have 2 versions of Photoshop (beta and normal)

For several days I have had problems with Photoshop beta, I had to install the normal Photoshop since the beta stopped working, I open the program and it closes instantly, I updated to the latest driver and it worked for a while, then it stopped working, the normal version of Photoshop works normally, but the truth is I want to use Photoshop beta to access all the new tools that are not in normal Photoshop

I don't think it's due to computer problems. I have a computer with decent graphics and a decent processor.

(I've attached proof of updated driverS)

AMD RYZEN 5 7600
MOTHERBOARD PRIME B650M-A AX
RAM DDR5 32GIGABYTES
GRAPHIC: NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050

Hi @MrRepeerc355265336tf3,

Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots. Sorry to hear about the trouble with Photoshop (beta).

Since the normal version works fine and only the beta is crashing, here are a few things to test:
 • Please reset Photoshop beta preferences. Corrupt preferences can sometimes cause instant crashes. Go to this location and delete “Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings” folder or move it to another location (it will be your backup): Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]
 • Try disabling GPU temporarily (Edit > Preferences > Performance > uncheck “Use Graphics Processor”) and see if it helps.
 • I see you’re on v580.97, which is good, but if the crash persists, you can try a clean reinstall of the Studio driver.
 • If you have both Photoshop and Photoshop (beta) installed, conflicts can sometimes occur with shared settings. Try uninstalling the beta completely (using Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool if necessary) and then reinstalling fresh.
 • If the crash continues, after the crash, a crash dialog usually gives you an option to send a report. Submitting it with your Adobe ID will allow us to check the crash logs.

Let me know how this goes. If it still fails, we’ll dig deeper.

Best,
Anshul Saini
