Incorrect pasting images From Clipboard Using Snipping Tool

When pasting an image from the clipboard after copying from the Windows 11 Snipping Tool, it seems to be incorrectly interpreting the image. It has been happening for the past couple months maybe.

It's easier if I just show you what I mean.

Take this image, a rainbow gradient because it is more obvious:

Gradient.png

When I screenshot it with snipping tool (via rectangle selection), then hit the Copy button, then paste it into Photoshop, it looks like this:

Untitled-5.png

Basically it looks like 3 pixels are transposed from the right side to the left side, and if you zoom far into the bottom left, there are 3 RGB pixels. This happens every time. It does not occurr when pasting in to Microsoft Paint so I don't think the problem is necessarily snipping tool.

There was a recent thread about this. It seems to have been fixed in the current Beta, so the fix ought to appear in the next regular release.
