Mac Scripts/Image Processor not retaining settings

Go to Apple>System Settings>Privacy & Security>Full Disk Access and add and enable Adobe Photoshop 2026 if it's not already there.

You could also try a reset of the Photoshop 2026 preferences:

Thanks for this Jeff, unfortunately this didn't work. 

I've just uninstalled PS and reinstalled it and the same issue persists. Then I deleted Image Processor.xml and replaced it with an old one from backup, same result. Finally I just deleted Image Processor.xml again, edited a couple of photos, reentered my settings under Script/Image Processor, ran the script, quit PS, restarted PS and I've noticed that Image Processor.xml hasn't been recreated in Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings!

However, a PSErrorLog.txt file has been created.

It reads:

I have no idea if this error log helps????

Maybe the Image Processor preferences have become corrupted.

Go to Macintosh HD/Users/UserName/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop 2026 Settings

and trash the Image Processor.xml.

On macOS the User Library is hidden by default so an easy way to get there is click on your desktop

then in the Go menu hold down the Option key and click on Library
