Dear Sir, Madam,

I bought a Master Collection CS5 in English.
I recently upgrade (1 or 2 months ago) via the Adobe Store and bought the Master Collection CS. 5.5 in DUTCH (DVD’s in a box)! The Photoshop Help function in the English version works well! But the Adobe Help function, as well as the Support Center does not work in DUTCH (only in Photoshop!! - not in Illustrator or Indesign,....) The Help Function in DUTCH is very important to me, because DUTCH is my first language. There will appear a pop-up window with a message that I need to reinstall, but it works absolutely not! I did this already several times and it still works not. I can always send You a Pintscreen from the POP-up message and email it to you. You can also contact me via my email: john.willems@skynet.be. Thank you to want to help. Greetings from John Willems.

Aw man! I look so serious in the picture. And my shirt is so conservative -- it doesn't have any tie-dye or color (it's really purple, green, and shades of brown and gold, but they don't come out over the little video window). 8-( Ah, well... Glad I could help, John! 8-D

Problem resolved.

Please keep in mind that if you're running both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions of Photoshop, then you'll need to patch both versions of the Help application.

Howdy John,

The problem you're encountering is a known bug in Photoshop CS5.1's Dutch Help. Luckily, however, there is a solution! 8-)

1. Exit both the Adobe Community Help application (if it is open)
and Photoshop CS5.1.
2. Go to http://help.adobe.com/HelpCfg/nl_NL/P....
3. Save the file that appears in your browser (File > Save Page As) to
the appropriate directory for your operating system:
* Windows XP/Vista/Win7 32 bit
C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/HelpCfg/nl_NL/
* Windows XP/Vista/Win7 64 bit
64-bit Photoshop: C:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/HelpCfg/nl_NL/
32-bit Photoshop: C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/HelpCfg/nl_NL/
* Mac OS
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/HelpCfg/nl_NL/
Note: Saving the file replaces an existing file. Click OK if prompted to
replace the existing file.
4. Relaunch Photoshop CS5.1.
5. Relaunch Help from Photoshop.

This should resolve the problem,
Thanks,
David
