P: Adobe Spaces Helper crash

Something really weird is happening to Photoshop CC 2017 and the bug is still here after numerous PS updates and different computers so I'm sure it's something in the code of PS or CC app.
I'm not entirely sure WHEN it starts behaving wrong (few times I was doing something with the text but other times I wasn't) but I definitely know when I see these symptoms:

- unable to select any menu
- unable to move layers or anything on the screen
- unable to save with CTRL+SHIFT+S (Save as)
- I'm ABLE to save with CTRL+S
- lasso works
- fill works
- hitting TAB totally messes things up - the windows get scrambled!

The only solution for this currently is to restart Creative Cloud app with the shortcut SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+R while the CC app is in focus (but sometimes this bug messes up the pc so much that I can't get the CC app in focus, even get to my task manager or other windows to behave normally).

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior before?

So it's totally weird and I bet the problem is in that damn Creative Cloud app I wish they never thought of in the first place 😕😕 so buggy....
Or.Or maybe the problem is related to the graphics card? I'll try different nvidia drivers and see how it goes...

Anyways here a crash info if it's helpful.

Thanks for the help everyone!

This issue should work more reliably in the latest release of Photoshop CC: https://blogs.adobe.com/photoshop/2017/10/get-the-goods-announcing-updates-to-photoshop-cc-dimension...

Did you deactivate or completely remove the Bins application?

Try removing the Creative Cloud Desktop App using this uninstaller:

None of these suggestions helped my problem 😞 And I too was running bins but deactivating bins didn't solve the problem.

Thank you so much Sean! I just installed bins and everything onto a new computer , right after installing the program everything work!! You're a life saver, almost reinstalled windows because of it and haven't had time to fix it for a week!

Yes, it was 2017.1.1.  I'm using Intel HD 4600.  Turns out an app I had just installed called bins was the culprit. I realized this after chrome starting crashing using mag links.

What I don't get is why the event logs entry faults adobe spaces, which wasn't even installed.

Hi Sean,

Sorry for the crashes. Did you update to CC 2017.1.1?

What video card do you have installed? If NVIDIA like BABILU above, does uninstalling the Gefore Experience application make a difference for you?

Regards

Thanks for the update about uninstalling NVIDIA GFE. Will keep it in mind.
Glad things are smoother for you!
