P: Changing Fade Opacity Slider Not Very Responsive

When using the Fade Dialog, chaging the Opacity Slider is jerky and not very responsive.

I have found this to be the case with PS 23 MAC Monteray.

What is the file size, does it have lots of layers?

My images file sizes are usually around 80mb - 300mb ( Tiff Scanned Black and White Negatives ) usually about 4 - 6 layers

Hmm I'm not seeing any difference with the Fade command between versions. It's never updated realtime as you slide the opacity slider, it only updates when the cursor stops moving. I agree it could be smoother overall.
