P: Export to SVG file - endless processing loop

I have a Photoshop file that I'm trying to Export As to an SVG file.  I get all the way to the save option, but then it just sits in an endless processing loop.  I can't figure out how to get this file to finally export as an SVG file.

I've reduced the image size in Photoshop, then also reduced the image size in the Export As setting.  This file just won't finish exporting.

What can I do to get this to finally work?

After update I still cannot export. Any advice? I have a mac and it just keeps trying to show the preview for the svg and keeps spinning. With the quick export, it allows me to select it but then above in the workspace the asterisk remains as unsaved and the file is not saved anywhere.

I also have a mac and am having the same problem where it just keeps trying to show the preview and keeps spinning. If I try the quick export to svg it allows me to select it, however, the asterisk remains on the file and shows it is not saved.

Hi all,

This should be fixed in the 19.1.3 release of Photoshop that went live this morning.

To update Photoshop CC to 19.1.3, click “Update” in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Photoshop CC.
More detailed instructions for updating: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/update-app.html

Please give it a try and let us know if it’s fixed for you.

I'm also having the same issue.

macOS High Sierra version 10.13.3
Photoshop cc 19.1.2.

I essentially pasted vector graphics as shapes into photoshop and need to export as svg.

Why would you need to do that? It makes no sense to convert a raster-based image (png) to a vector-based image (svg). You should be saving out your vector graphics to svg/eps and your raster graphics to png/jpg.
