Update today from TinyPNG:

Thank you for your patience.

We are reaching out to you because you were experiencing crash issues with the Photoshop plugin. Unfortunately, it took us longer than expected to have a fix available since this issue couldn't be reproduced.

With that said, we're happy to announce that there is a new update available. Could you please give this version a try and see if it works for you?
You can download it from https://tinify.com/dashboard/photoshop

Let me know if you have any additional questions or feedback.

I reached out to the makers of TinyPNG. Sounds like they are working on it. I offered any help from our engineering side and haven't heard anything back from them:

Subject: TinyPNG crash

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Photoshop plugin. Sadly, there is a small number of users reporting similar issues with the macOS plugin and Photoshop 2021/2022.

Currently, a workaround method is by using Photoshop scripts to optimize images. We have created several example scripts that compress JPEG and PNG files and an example that exports Layer Comps to optimized images. You can download the scripts and copy them into your Scripts folder in Photoshop. New menu items will appear under File > Automate and under File > Scripts after copying the scripts to Photoshop. Unfortunately, this will be a different workflow compared to the export window.

We want to ensure you that we are trying our best to solve this issue. It's on the top of our priority list and it's scheduled to be addressed soon. For now, I've added you to the mailing list. When there is a solution available, we'll be sure to notify you!

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Kind regards,
Lilly Chong

I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system.

If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

Is this the plug-in you're using? https://tinypng.com/photoshop Or from a different vendor? You should contact the maker of the plug-in. They can contact us if they need API support.

Have you checked for updates from the vendor? Plugins are not guaranteed to work with PS or OS updates automatically.

Checking the TinyPNG site- it is only compatible with PS 2020 and Mac OS Big Sur. Downgrading PS isnt enough.
