Photoshop zoom is weird with delay in Liquify filter.

If i try to zoom in to more than 50%, it will take as long as 3 seconds to load the image. And then all of a sudden,  zoom in.

something wrong... This is very inconvenient. I reset the settings of Photoshop and reinstalled it. It's the same problem.

My laptop, imac is same issue. No OS problem... Photoshop version is 23.3
Fix and Help me plz =(

While I was easily able to reproduce the issue on Win 10 before 23.4.1 (and 23.4), I'm not seeing either a delay in the preview or zoom anymore on either Mac or Win.

A couple of questions that may help us better debug the issue:

1. What are you driving Photoshop with (mouse/tablet/other)?

2. What type of files are you using when you experience the slow zoom (layers/size/bit depth)?

Thanks,

Adam

I do a lot of zoom-in-out on Liquify. However, it is very uncomfortable from the first version of Photoshop 2022. Slow zoom or loading.

Except for just one version 23.4, it still hasn't been fixed.

This is my current Photoshop version 23.4.1.

Is this updated on 23.5? Or how many more months?

I have Mac Pro and Intel PC and both computers have delays.

Install Photoshop 2019 or 2018 version. There is no problematic delay in the Liquify operation.

Has this been fixed? 23.4.1 still has a delay.

I read in Reddit. To avoid this issue (liquify zoom delay), use a minimum version of 21.0.3. That's the answer.

It was fixed perfectly in 23.4, but it was excluded from the release because there was a serious error, and there is still a delay in 23.4.1 so what you can do while waiting for Adobe's patch is rollback to the previous version.(Minimum 21.0.3, rollback to earlier versions improves overall performance of Photoshop)

Is there a small patch for this? Improvements are needed.

I have MacMini and Intel i7 pc.

Both computers have delays. I'm afraid to turn on the Liquify. The Photoshop version is 23.4.1.

To proceed without this delay, must use a version of the year other than the 2022 version....

When will the 23.5 fixed with this Liquify zoom in-out delay be released?

It's very uncomfortable. The delay has been around since the beginning of 2022, and my working environment has been paralyzed for more than six months at a time when half of this year has passed.

At this rate, I am worried that it will be transferred to the 2023 release next year.....

It's slow, but wait. Delay is hard for everyone who uses Photoshop, but the hardest thing is the Adobe team that fixes it.

There are two ways you can do it temporarily before this delay is fixed.

a) Select the area you want to work on, and then run the liquify. Then there is no problem with zoom-in-out.

b) Don't zoom in-out....

陈老师指出,Photoshop 2022版本在液化修理方面非常慢。 2018年和2019年的版本非常快。 学生们对此感到不满。 在液化修理中扩大是慢的。
