Same error issue. Doesn't generate even the simplest prompt. Thought it maty be connection issue but restarted and still not working. Tested on Firefly and AI generation there seems fine, only a problem in Photoshop.

I am so annoyed with these constant "updates" which seem to do more bad than good. I depend on Generative Fill for some batch image processing and I've been NOT PRODUCTIVE the entire day. Maybe you Adobe guys should STOP IT with the constant updates that mess up important functions and release the new software updates when you have checked, double and triple checked them to make sure that they don't mess up and cause the programm to malfunction. This is unacceptable.

I keep getting the issue "We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request at this time. Please try again later." It's been repeating this for hours.

My generative fill is taking long and then the message 'we've encountered an issue and cannot complete your request' pops up. I have tried everything, internet is good, restarted computer, layer unlocked, still have credits, fully updated but yet this problem is not going away and I am not able to generate fills. I have been using this feature since it has come out and I have never had an issue.

Hi, I am having this issue. I updated all Adobe apps, disabled my firewall, and restored my system. My OS is also updated to Sanoma 14.6.1. I tried both PS 2025 and PS Beta. PLease help.

ich kann seit heute keine Bildinhalte mehr generieren lassen. Es kommt immer die Fehlermeldung, dass ich es später noch einmal probieren soll. Neustart brachte auch keine Besserung.

Too right. Unfortuantely I think we - as paying customers - are the guinea pigs for testing. Post the updates ands then see what goes wrong.

Have you tried using Photoshop 2024 - Version 25.12.1. Generrative AI is working on this version.

yes, Version 25.12.1. Generrative AI is working on this version! try using that photoshop in the meantime.

Hello, I am an architectural photographer and I use Adobe Lightroom Classic with Photoshop. I have two problems; when I use Lightroom "open as layers in Photoshop", it opens Photoshop beta instead of Photoshop. 

In photoshop beta generative AI does not work. After writing the promote the software starts the generative AI process but it does not success in completing the task.  This problem started today after uptade 26.4.

How can we solve the problem?

We shouldn't have to retrocompute software to PS 24 in order for Generative Fill to work properly.

Same error here, simply downgrade to Photoshop 26.2 and Genreative AI tools works again
