P: Shortcut for hiding/showing guides doesn't work

Photoshop 23.2.1, Windows 10, german keyboard, german keyboard setting

Bug: for the german version of Photoshop, the default shortcut for hiding/showing guides was for a long time and still is Ctrl+, (control and comma). When using this combination on a german Windows, with a german keyboard in german setting, the shortcut hides/shows the currently selected layer instead.

This is due to the menu action "Hide layers" has the same shortcut (I didn't change anything here). Unfortunately, the "Hide layers" action has priority.

Solution for me: deleting the shortcut for hiding the layer.

Solution for Adobe: avoid using the same shortcut twice.

Same problem on a brand new Macbook, Photoshop 25.10. French keyboard.
For now, I "solved" the problem by removing the "⌘+/" shortcut (lock layer).

Same issue...

Photoshop 25.6.0.

The shortcut cmd+: is applied to guides but it doesn't work.

I checked in the shortcut panels and there's no duplicated shortcut for this command.

It's 2024 now, I use the newest PS version with the newest os x and this issue still remains. The shortcut doesn't work.

Hello, the same problem with french versions of the very last Photoshop (but since 1year and more).

The shortcut on mac to hide the guides is "command" + ":" it's written like this in the action menu

--> but this shortcut is now locking/unlocking the layer. I tried to select the whole canva but it's the same.

So there is no shortcut to hide/show the guides right now.

Thank you for you help

Thanks. There shouldn't be duplicate keyboard shortcuts. I've asked engineering to take a look.
