Question

Partner AI models not working, can't verify the amount of AI credits on my account

Hello!

I've updated my Photoshop to the version 27.0 and unfortunately I can't check out the new functions. Both Flux Kontext/Nano Banana or Topaz Sharpening/Noise removal don't seem to function. It's behaving similarly to the day of the huge AWS breakdown - a window with a loading bar pops up, but it disappears halfway or like 75%, not having any effect. I've waited since friday to check it out again, but nothing has changed, I figured that maybe I don't have the necessary generative credits, but I'm not able to check the balance - the whole section in the top-right dropdown menu is not loading at all, the error says this section can't be loaded. Is anyone else experiencing issues like this?

I have the exact same issue, and I’m wondering if it’s because I’m on an older version of MacOS?

Hi @MoonBuggy1,

Sorry for the delayed response. It looks like your Adobe account is part of an Education/Enterprise plan, in which case the availability of partner-powered AI models and generative credits isn’t under your direct control. Instead, your University/Enterprise Admin manages those entitlements.

Because of that:

• You won’t be able to verify or adjust AI credit balances in your app; the admin controls that.
• Certain premium AI features may be disabled or limited based on your organization’s subscription configuration, not your macOS version.

What you can do next:

• Contact your University or Enterprise Admin and ask them to check your plan entitlements (especially AI/Firefly credits).
• They can raise a ticket with Adobe support through the Admin Console if they need help adjusting feature access.
•  More info here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-for-enterprise.html

I hope this info helps!

Best,

Anshul Saini

I don't think the amount of credits you have matters:   For me: I only got a couple of tries of each- then they wanted me to subscribe to some B.S. in order to use it.

I am having this exact same issue. I've confirmed I have a credit balance that should support using the partner models. I also don't recieve any error codes or any additional messages to follow up on once the partner models fail to generate.

I seem to have full access to all Adobe/Firefly based features and have roughly 4000 credits linked to my account, buty I am unable to test any of the new parnter model features.
